‘The Wall Fell on My Hand…’

Rachel Lunique, survivor of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, tells her story of being trapped under pounds of concrete for two days after running back into her apartment building in order to save her next door neighbor. Fortunately, someone was able to dig her out. Lunique goes into the depletion of resources in Haiti as a result of the earthquake: “We’re living in misery.”
