Sir Edmund Hillary Describes Mount Everest Climb

Sir Edmund Hillary was one of the first two climbers to ever reach the peak of Mount Everest and he describes when he first believed that they would succeed in their quest. Hillary accomplished this on May 29, 1953, accompanied by Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay. Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world, located in the Himalayas.
