Academy Members Recall 1974′s Naked Interruption

A memorable moment from the 46th Academy Awards ceremony on April 2, 1974 was when streaker, Robert Opel, ran onto stage during David Niven's introduction of Elizabeth Taylor. Members of the Academy recall how they felt during that infamous moment: "I remember when…streaking was a part of our world." The first Academy Awards were held in 1929 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and the award ceremony has been held every year since at various locations around Los Angeles.
