Jim Morrison
The Doors’ ‘Magical Ingredient’

John Densmore, drummer for the California based rock band The Doors, talks about the success of the band stemming from luck, hustle, talent, and lead singer Jim Morrison. Densmore claims that Morrison was the band’s “magical ingredient” but also comments on the alcoholism that contributed to the artist’s death. He also talks about the possibility of a band reunion in which somebody like Bono or Eddie Vedder could stand in as the band’s replacement lead singer.
