Student-Interview With Gloria Steinem in 70s Led to Rallying of Women on Campus

In the early 70s, Rob Rainey, who interviewed Gloria Steinem as the News Director for the Auburn University student-run radio show 91.1 FM, talks about how Steinem criticized some of the sexist college policies on the air. She said, "I'd sleep outside before I'd obey a curfew that was before the men's curfew," which encouraged the female Auburn students to start protesting the rule.
