Legendary film director Martin Scorsese recalls what it was like to have Oliver Stone, another acclaimed film director, in one of his introductory film classes at New York University. Scorsese comments on the first impression he had about Stone’s personality, describing him as quiet and gentle. He also reminisces about the first project that Stone ever did for the class. Scorsese, giving Stone an ‘A’ on the short film, described it as emotional and very well done.
