Peter Yarrow: ‘The Words Came From Martin Luther King’s Heart’

Peter Yarrow recalls hearing the “I Have a Dream” speech at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. He was standing next to bandmate, Mary Travers, on the historic day and recounts what she said. The March gathered over 200,000 people together on August 28, 1963 in Washington, D.C. to promote civil rights and labor equality.
