John F. Kennedy Jr.
Personal Assistant Opens Up About JFK Jr.

Personal assistant to John F. Kennedy, Jr., RoseMarie Terenzio, describes their personal friendship and working relationship. Terenzio describes the loyalty and sense of humor the two had in common that allowed for such a productive work environment in the years leading up to the tragic plane crash on July 16, 1999 that killed both Kennedy and his wife, Carolyn Bessette. After describing the friendship that bloomed between herself and Bessette, she remembers the conversation that she had with Bessette when she convinced her to get on the plane and go with Kennedy to a family wedding. Along with this, she reminisces on how hard it was to finally accept that her long-time friends were not returning home.
