Penny Chenery on Her Horse Secretariat

Penny Chenery, the owner of Secretariat, the 1973 Triple Crown-winning horse, about Secretariat’s 31-length Belmont Stakes win. The Triple Crown is a series of three Thoroughbred horse races for three-year-old horses run in May and early June each year. Only 11 horses have ever won the Triple Crown, and none since 1978.
