Operation Anaconda

Operation Anaconda was an effort by the United States military, CIA Paramilitary Officers, NATO forces and allied Afghan military to destroy al-Qaeda and Taliban forces. Operation Anaconda took place from March 2 to March 16, 2002, in the Shahi-Kot Valley and Arma Mountains of Afghanistan near the border with Pakistan. In this video, soldiers discuss what it was like on the ground during the operation.
