2011 Tucson Shooting
Nancy Bowman: "Found a Massacre"

Nancy Bowman, nurse and wife, discusses what it was like witnessing the Tuscon shooting outside a Safeway in Arizona. Her first person account recalls her and her husband's sight of people on the ground and the shooter running rampant. Bowman urges for a plan to be called into action to stop the gun violence. On January 8, 2011, U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords and eighteen others were shot during a constituent meeting held in a supermarket parking lot in Casas Adobes, Arizona, in the Tucson metropolitan area. Six people died, including federal District Court Chief Judge John Roll; Gabe Zimmerman, one of Rep. Giffords' staffers; and a nine-year-old girl, Christina-Taylor Green.
