Super Bowl
Jerry Kramer on the Legendary Vince Lombardi

Former Green Bay Packer Jerry Kramer talks about the legend that was Vince Lombardi and the character traits that made him one of the most lauded coaches in the history of the NFL. Kramer recalls Coach Lombardi’s high expectations: “He was an incredibly demanding, difficult human being, and I think because he demanded so much of himself that he could demand that much of us”. Lombardi won two consecutive Super Bowls with the Packers in 1966 and 1967. In 1970, following his death from cancer, the NFL’s Superbowl Trophy was renamed the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
