Junor Seau was an NFL linebacker, considered to be one of the best to ever play his position. Seau played for the San Diego Chargers for thirteen years, followed by stints with the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots. Seau retired from the NFL following the 2009 season. In 2012, Seau committed suicide at the age of 43. Autopsy work done by the National Institute of Health (NIH) concluded that Seau had chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
