Judd Apatow is a film producer, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work on TV shows and films such as Freaks and Geeks, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up and This Is 40. In this video, Jason Segel, who worked with Apatow on Freaks and Geeks, discusses what it was like to have Apatow as a mentor: “He’s a genius. It’s like doing comedy with John Nash from ‘A Beautiful Mind’. You’re in awe of how brilliant he is. It’s amazing. We didn’t know any better when we were young. For most of us it was our first acting experience and it changed all of our lives.”
