Roe V. Wade
Jane Roe: "Dedicated to Preserving Life"

Norma McCorvery, also referred to as Jane Roe, who once fought for abortion and right to privacy for women, years later changed her opinion. In her first person account, she announces that life should now be preserved and abortion is an act of murder. Roe v. Wade was a decision passed by the United States Supreme Court regarding abortion. The Court ruled 7–2 that a right to privacy under the due process clause of the 14th Amendment extended to a woman's decision to have an abortion. Women could choose abortion in earlier months of pregnancy without legal restriction, and with restrictions in later months, based on that right to privacy.
