Todd wed Taylor as her third husband on February 2, 1957, a marriage that ended tragically with Todd's death in a fatal plane crash on March 22, 1958. Taylor married Burton, her fifth husband, from 1964 to 1974, then a second time in 1975 for another year before their divorce on July 29, 1976.
