Babe Ruth's daughter, Julia Ruth Stevens, shares her fondest memory of her dad. She had asked him to come to his graduation when he was on the road–and even if it was the early 30s when it was considered unsafe to fly on a plane–he flew home in order to make it to her graduation ceremony.

Beginning his career as a stellar left-handed pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, Ruth achieved his greatest fame as a slugging outfielder for the New York Yankees.
