Alfred McEwen on Photos Captured by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter

Alfred McEwen, the scientist responsible for the HiRISE camera, remembers the successful landing of NASA's Phoenix spacecraft photographed by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on May 25, 2008 and discusses some of the images they received from the MRO. HiRISE stands for High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment and McEwen was instrumental in its creation.
