Alex Morgan, forward for the US Women's National team describes her experiences with the Seattle Sounders Women as well as her hopes for the 2012 Summer Olympics. In her first person account, Morgan believes that the World Cup has helped her to become a more effective and confident player. She and the rest of the Olympic squad are confident in their ability to work well together and have put in a lot of hard work in order to be successful. The 2012 Summer Olympics took place in London from July 25, 2012 to August 12, 2012 with over 10,000 athletes competing. The women played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff starting July 25th. London was the first city to host the modern Olympic Games three times, having previously done so in 1908 and in 1948.
