A young lady named Shelby shares what it was like to be in the midst of the Joplin, Missouri tornado on May 22, 2011. The tornado killed 158 people, plus indirectly killed 4 others; injured 1,150; and caused $2.8 billion in damage. Hear how Shelby’s family coped; at what point they feared being the only survivors; and what decision they made when rebuilding their lives after the tornado. This was the deadliest tornado to hit the U.S. since 1947.
