Malcolm X explains in this firsthand account exactly why he feels that the Muslim religion is the best thing for the nation. He was assassinated in February of 1965 after retracting his faith in the Nation of Islam. Malcolm X was the leader of the Nation of Islam and a prominent human rights activist who believed that separation of blacks and whites was the best thing for society.
