The first person accounts of Jessica Watts, who lost a cousin in the theater shooting and Sam Soudani, whose daughter was wounded recount the lack of emotions from the alleged gunman. The suspected gunman, James Holmes, showed no emotion in the face of the victims crying in court. Soudani believes that the gunman has lost his humanity. On July 20, 2012, a mass shooting occurred inside of a Century movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, during a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises. James Holmes is the sole suspect.
