At a book signing by Sarah Weddington at the Robert H. Jackson Center, Sarah discusses her book "A Question of Choice" that dealt with her successful representation in the Supreme Court case of Roe v. Wade. Her first person account shows her going through her book and explaining the steps she took to finally getting to that final court decision, including the movie that represented her and that case. Roe v. Wade was a decision passed by the United States Supreme Court regarding abortion. The Court ruled 7–2 that a right to privacy under the due process clause of the 14th Amendment extended to a woman's decision to have an abortion. Women could choose abortion in earlier months of pregnancy without legal restriction, and with restrictions in later months, based on that right to privacy.
