Ted Koppel, whose program Nightline was initially created to keep track of the Iranian hostage crisis, recalls what happened at the end of the crisis and comments on the legacy of Iran and America's actions during the event. For 444 days 52 American diplomats were held captive until their negotiated release on January 20, 1981.
