Businessman Peter Gruber recalls the time Nelson Mandela called him about hosting an event for him in the U.S. after he was released from prison in 1990. Gruber relates a story that Mandela told him about his philosophy on freedom and explains why Mandela wanted to come to the United States. Mandela passed away on December 5, 2013.
