Paul Newman co-starred with Elizabeth Taylor in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” and he discusses how impressed he was with her professionalism and strength while filming the film despite having recently lost her husband Mike Todd in a plane crash. Newman describes Taylor’s ferocious personality, generosity, and her great acting skills: “She is a very intuitive actress.” The film, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” came out on September 20, 1958.
