Passengers on the New York SeaStreak ferry recall what it was like to witness the crash and describe the fear they experienced on the scene. The ferry was said to be travelling at between 10 mph and 12 mph when the crash happened on January 9, 2013. Their first person accounts describe how dozens of passengers were injured as they were thrown around the boat when it collided. SeaStreak is a private ferry company operating in the Port of New York and New Jersey and New England. On January 9, 2013, Seastreak Wall Street, came from the Atlantic Highlands and rammed into the mooring as it was docking. Eighty-five people were injured, and two were critically injured.
