In an interview with Larry King, former president and first lady, Gerald and Betty Ford, lament the death of Ronald Reagan, the 40th President of the United States. Betty Ford expresses empathy for her fellow former first lady, and describes Ronald and Nancy Reagan’s love story as “one of the greatest love stories of all time.” When prompted, she also briefly goes into her experience of feeling terror for her husband due to the assassination attempts made on Gerald Ford’s life during his time as President.
