Fonda on Female Perfectionism: “We’re Not Meant to be Perfect, We’re Meant to be Whole”

Jane Fonda opens up about her struggles with anorexia and trying to have the perfect body until one day Greta Garbo asks her to go for a swim. Fonda describes how moving it was for her to go swimming with Garbo and find out that Garbo's body was athletic and not stereotypically perfect: "It made me so happy that she was just a good, healthy body…" Fonda was born on December 21, 1937.
