Attorney Edward Bennett Williams defending his client Bobby Baker in 1963. The Senate Rules Committee led by Senator B. Everett Jordan holds a hearing about the political and financial dealings of Bobby Baker,a former Senate page and secretary to LBJ when he was Senate Majority Leader. Baker came under investigation when it was revealed that he tried to obtain a defense plant contract for one of his businesses. His attorney Edward Bennett Williams requests that Baker be excused from the proceedings
