Fred Haise talks about what it was like being on Apollo 13 with all the technical complications. His first person account discusses the mission and the structure of Apollo 13 as well as what it took to get them home. Apollo 13 was the seventh manned mission in the American Apollo space program and the third intended to land on the Moon. It was launched on April 11, 1970 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. There were complications on board such as limited power, loss of heat and water shortage but the crew returned unharmed six days later.
