Anne Marie Hochhalter on Never Walking Again

27-year-old Anne Marie Hochhalter remembers the day she lost her ability to walk in the Columbine High School massacre. Her first person account reveals that she was shot and had to undergo four hours of surgery. Shortly after the shooting, her mother committed suicide. Anne remembers feeling, lost, angry and confused at having lost so much in her life. The Columbine High School massacre was a school shooting which occurred on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Columbine, Colorado.Two senior students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, murdered a total of 12 students and one teacher. The pair then committed suicide.
