Only 17 years old at the time, Kori recalls being mistaken for a corpse, narrowly escaping cremation, and picking maggots out of her wounds–among other horrors. The bomb dropped on Nagasaki by the United states on August 9, 1945; the second atomic bomb dropped in history and the last to date.
