Director James Cameron discusses how the romance of the film was inspired by the real heartache of the women on the RMS Titanic and explains the faith he put in Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio to portray the epic love story. Cameron also discusses the historical accuracy of the film and the acting capabilities of DiCaprio and Winslet. Cameron's “Titanic” premiered on December 19, 1997 and became one of the highest grossing films of all time.
