Jane Goodall and Michael Aufhauser remember how they brought chimpanzees in need of rescue to Aufhauser’s Animal Sanctuary in Austria. In a rare, unscripted moment, we see Goodall retain the dignity and eloquence of her copious public videos while laughing and joking candidly; in turn, we see Aufhauser’s admiration and warmth towards Goodall. He says he “never would have dared” hold chimpanzees in his sanctuary if it were not for Goodall believing in him. Goodall says that because of him, the chimps were rescued and allowed to stay in a German-speaking country, a language and culture that they recognized.

Fischer began competing in the United States Chess Championship at age 14, and at age 15 he became the youngest grandmaster of his time. In 1972, Fischer defeated Boris Spassky of the USSR to claim the title of World Chess Champion. On March 8, 1971, Joe Frazier and Mohammed Ali, both undefeated at the time, squared off in “The Fight of the Century” at Madison Square Garden in New York City. At the time, both Frazier and Ali had claims to the title of World Heavyweight Champion. Ali (31-0) had won the title from Sonny Liston in 1964, but was stripped of the title by boxing authorities after he refused induction into the armed forces in 1967. With Ali suspended from boxing, Frazier (26-0) defeated both Buster Mathis and Jimmy Ellis for championship belts. The fight on March 8th lasted 15 rounds, with the judges giving the victory to Joe Frazier and handing Mohammed Ali his first loss. In this video, see how the fight came about.
