In 1986, Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat agreed to be interviewed together. These two artists worked on multiple collaborative paintings from 1983 until 1985. Warhol was a leading artist in the pop art movement who died in 1987. Basquiat was a Haitian-American artist who was one of the leaders of the street art movement. Basquiat died on August 12, 1988 at the age of 27 of a heroin overdose.
