Philippe Petit speaking about FEAR. Petit walked a tightrope between the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York in August 1974 and was featured in the Academy Award Winning Documentary Man on Wire directed by James Marsh. He is also the subject of Robert Zemeckis’ 2015 film The Walk–starring Joseph Gordon Levitt. Hear Petit discusses fear and how we can address our fear. Though he says he doesn’t really have fear on the wire, it is in real life where we all face fear. His suggestion is to know is to love, thus we must learn to love that which we fear.
