Australian actress Charmian Carr on playing Liesl in the hit film The Sound of Music. She remarks on how kind and wonderful Julie Andrews was to her. It was the first, and only, film she ever performed in.  She was actually 21 going on 22, when she sang the timeless lyrics “I am 16 going on 17.” She went on to be Michael Jackson’s interior designer.
