What happens when two of the world’s greatest tennis players join up with two of the most famous comedians of all time?  Check out this rare footage of Wimbledon champ Fred Perrry and Groucho Marx take on Ellsworth Vines (also a Wimbledon champ) and Charlie Chaplin.  The match was set to promote the Beverly Hills Tennis Club, which Perry and Vines were founders of.  Fun video!

After a moving introduction by Daniel Taradash, actor Charlie Chaplin accepts an honorary Academy Award after returning to America for the first time in over 20 years on April 2, 1972. Chaplin left the country after he was accused of being a communist and lived in Switzerland until his death on December 25, 1977.
