Bruce Lee was a martial artist and actor, widely considered to be one of the most important martial artists of all time. He began appearing in films as a child, but is best known for his later work including the 1972 film Fists of Fury. In this video, Lee discusses martial arts and its different styles, saying: “Martial arts include all the combative arts like Karate, Judo, Chinese Kung Fu or Chinese boxing, whatever you call it… It’s a combative form of fighting. Some of them became sport, but some of them are still not… I do not believe in styles anymore. I do not believe that there is such thing as Chinese way of fighting or Japanese way of fighting or whatever way of fighting, because unless human being have three arms and four legs, we will have a different form of fighting. But basically we only have two hands and two feet, so styles tends to not only separate man, you know because they have their own doctrines, and then the doctrine became the gospel truth. But if you do not have style, you just say ‘Well, here I am as a human being. How can I express myself totally and completely?’”

Martial artist Jackie Chan recalls the day he was beaten up by Bruce Lee on the set of Enter the Dragon and remembers what he did after Lee nearly knocked him unconscious. Chan is a successful performer know for his acrobatic fighting style. On January 6, 2009, it was announced that Bruce’s Hong Kong home would be preserved and turned into a tourist site in his memory.
