Musicians Remember Dick Clark

Dick Clark, born November 30, 1929, was an American radio and television personality who is best known for hosting the show American Bandstand from 1957 to 1987. American Bandstand was responsible for introducing rock & roll to many people. Artists who got their first national exposure on American Bandstand include Ike and Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder and Simon & Garfunkel. Clark also hosted Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, which was done live in Times Square. In this video, musicians talk about Clark’s impact on the music industry.
