We received an advisory last 4th November that Yolanda typhoon is coming in our country fast and strong.

Our government motto is the "Peoples Safety is our Priority". They were updating us to be prepared with extreme measures.

It was a long week for us, we were panic buying foods for 2 days, batteries, flashlights and water.

Around 4am November 8, 2013 started to rain for long hours.

Around 12 nn it hit our city with strong winds and strong rains.

We had a total blackout, Me and my families were staying at home, locking windows and doors. Praying that Yolanda typhoon will be kind to us. Answered prayer :)

Unfortunately our neighboring Islands (Cebu, Leyte and Bohol) hit pretty hard and in worst scenario. We send our prayers as well for them and any help we can lend for the restoration of their cities.

At the end of the day, me and my family open our doors. Shake off the dirt from our houses and putting big SMILE :). We don't complain of what Yolanda did to us, but we send our gratitude to Almighty God for helping us getting through this tough times.
